The highly anticipated Omotesando Koffee, the best new coffee shop in town is opening its doors at OUE Downtown Gallery this mid-August!
First started as a pop-up store at a small Japanese-style house in Omotesando’s residential area, the coffee shop has amassed a cult following amongst both locals and tourists in Japan. And now, thanks to a partnership between Russell Stradmoor, director and franchising owner of Omotesando Koffee, and Junny Lee, founder of The Work Project, CBD dwellers have a new go-to joint to get their much needed caffeine fix.
Omotesando Koffee has two signature blend of coffee created in-house called 01 and 02. The first blend is more fitting for espressos as it has a powerful, heavy taste, whereas 02 is milder, fruitier and sweeter. The beans are roasted by Ogawa Coffee in Kyoto Prefecture, and we were lucky enough to get on our hands on some during a preview awhile ago.
Once opened, eager fans can also look forward to Omotesando Koffee’s signature cube-shaped custard cake along with new items exclusive to Omotesando Koffee Singapore. The wait is almost over but for the latest updates, stay tuned on Downtown Gallery’s Facebook and Instagram for more.
